Hi Mark!

We are having great success with the Pizza oven. What a relaxing way to have a meal! Fire it up, have a few drinks, cook a pizza entree, followed by a roast meal, finish it off with a baked pudding and another bottle of red!
We got on to a supply of good hard wood off cuts from a local mill and that has been working really well. All cut to the right size as if they were made for it. I only we wish we had more time at home so we could use it on a more regular basis.

The base you made for us is working out really well. With the old corrugated iron side on it fits in really well with the area we're trying to create. It also doubles as a good storage place for our wood. We purchased a pizza slide and door from Peter Bergemann. He does a great job with all of his tools. Certainly makes it easy.

If anyone in this area wants to purchase an oven and would like to see one already set up, please feel free to give them our phone number. We enjoy showing off our new eating area! The oven is certainly a conversation piece when people visit. For some reason they all want to come back for a pizza! We have been doing a lot of experimenting with different types of pizza toppings and we can't work out which one is best. We'll just have to keep testing. We've had a roast chicken and roast pork dinner. The crackling on the pork was incredible. Lorraine has made a baked custard and bread and butter pudding very successfully. We're now keen to try and make some different types of bread.
